Human Resources Representative

Human Resources | Irvine

SUMMARY OF POSITION

 

This role will provide HR support to the Irvine Corporate location and will be the owner for our HRIS system and for all US benefits administration. Primary duties will include but are not limited to:  benefits administration, LOA’s, onboarding new employees, responding to general HR inquiries, processing voluntary terminations and maintaining personnel records, HR system administration, performance management administration and working with the Director of HR to implement new policies, processes and procedures.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Knowledge of applicable laws/regulations related to HR Processes
    • Responsible for day-to-day administration and employee communication and support for of all aspects of employee benefits (health, dental, vision, life).
    • Communicates benefit policies and changes and coordinates open enrollment
    • Oversee all benefits related compliance matters including Affordable Care Act (ACA and other federal laws and regulations impacting benefits.
    • Monthly benefit administration and reporting.
    • Manages employee recognition and service award programs
    • Coordinates interviews and tracks process to assure positive candidate experience
    • Conducts reference checks
    • Creates offer letters and facilitates and monitors new hire onboarding process
    • Facilitates new hire orientation to build a strong foundation for new employees
    • Manages HRIS for personnel and benefits information, ensures integrity of data and develops improvements to system as necessary.
    • Responsible for creating and running HRIS and ATS reports as needed.
    • Completes all Verification of Employment inquiries
    • Creates Employee Change Forms and submits to payroll
    • Must be able to handle sensitive/confidential information and situations.
    • Supports, communicates, reinforces and defends the mission, values and culture of the organization
    • May include other duties and special projects as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education and Experience

      • Two to five years relevant Human Resource experience
      • Solid working experience with HRIS systems
      • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, or Business Administration preferred
      • Demonstrated knowledge and strong functional experience in benefits administration
      • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite of products
      • SPHR or PHR certification preferred

Sr. Software Engineer

R & D | Irvine

SUMMARY OF POSITION

Develops cross-platform mobile and desktop applications that enable both internal and external users to design, diagnose, manufacture, set up, and configure lower-limb microprocessor-controlled prosthetic devices

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, develop, and maintain a wide variety of cross-platform applications deployed to Windows, iOS, Android, and Mac platforms
  • Participate in product development process including hazard analysis, requirements, architectural design, development, verification, and validation
  • Provide support to internal and external customers including engineering, marketing, sales, clinical services, medical practitioners, and product users

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education and Experience

  •  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years direct experience developing Windows desktop applications using C# or C++ language
  • Minimum of 2 years direct experience developing mobile applications using Xamarin tools
  • Minimum of 2 years direct experience working with wireless technologies, networking protocols, medical devices, or embedded systems
  • UI/UX design experience a plus
  • RESTful web service experience a plus

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS

    • Seasoned expert in C#, CLR, and .NET Framework
    • Very strong proficiency in WPF and XAML
    • Strong proficiency in iOS or Android mobile app development

Sr. Manufacturing Engineer

Operations | Irvine

SUMMARY OF POSITION

As a member of the manufacturing and product development team, the individual works closely with the design engineering, product development and manufacturing teams to meet new product release objectives and to support existing product lines with continuous improvement in mind.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure that new products are released on schedule with robust processes and acceptance testing methodologies that achieve cost objectives.
  • Support the installation and maintenance of equipment in the production area.
  • Achieve 3 sigma or better quality performance and support the sales plan with upside potential.
  • Is the manufacturing technical expert to the design and analysis team to ensure manufacturability of product throughout the design and development process and with key supplier partners.
  • Create and executes manufacturing plans, with layouts that are efficient, and flexible.
  • Writes detailed manufacturing process development protocols (IQ, OQ, PQ) that document and control processes that meet product requirements.
  • Specify manufacturing tools and equipment.
  • Design necessary fixtures and tooling required to manufacture, assemble and inspect products at component and final assembly.
  • Leads cross-functional teams as a project manager and achieves project objectives. Will also participate on cross functional teams as a team member.
  • Supports existing products with problem solving and continuous improvement of cost and quality objectives.
  • Writes detailed manufacturing procedures that document and control processes that meet product requirements.
  • Trains the manufacturing team on new product methods and changes to existing product procedures.
  • Implement process and product changes using existing change control process.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education and Experience

  •  BS degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in the assembly of electronics, hydraulics, and mechanical products. Medical device experience is preferred.
  • Experience in Project Management with the ability to lead a cross functional team.
  • Experience with process validation, establishing acceptance tests and criteria in association with new product development.
  • Experience developing manufacturing fixtures and tooling
  • Experience with process flow mapping, lean manufacturing, and six sigma.
  • Experience working in an ISO 9001 / ISO 13485 environment.
  • Experience in meeting new product cost of goods objectives and life cycle cost improvements.

Customer Service Representative

Customer Service | Irvine, California

SUMMARY OF POSITION

Customer Service Representatives interact with customers and provide them with information to address general inquiries regarding products/services and helps process orders for both the US and Asia-Pacific regions. They are often the first point of contact with customers supporting the Sales Team and all other departments within the Company. They are multi-tasked individuals handling more than one situation at a time. Good communication skills–written and verbal–are essential for this position. The CSR is a problem solver, and any issues the customer may have should be resolved after speaking with this individual.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Receive and process orders via phone, email or fax in a timely manner
  • Answer all incoming phone calls – make transfers when needed
  • Provide first line basic level product technical support utilizing resources provided
  • Advise customer of any product promotions available supporting Sales/Marketing
  • Resolve customer issues and handle customer returns processing
  • Prepare requested reports by management
  • Invoice daily orders processed; file and mail 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education and Experience

  • Prior customer service experience; 5 Years Minimum
  • High School Diploma; Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
  • General computer literacy skills
  • Excellent phone etiquette
  • Ability to multi-task and effectively manage multiple incoming calls in a high call-volume environment
