Manager, Product Strategy

Marketing | Irvine, California

SUMMARY OF POSITION

The Manager, Product Strategy will be an integral member of the Product Development Team, ultimately responsible for the development, and maintenance, of the Innovation Roadmaps for all three franchises (knees, feet, services) within Freedom Innovations.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Build, and Manage, the 3-Year Innovation Roadmap for Knees, Feet, and Services
  • Monitor Competition/Competitive Activity and provide analysis/findings to the Marketing & Sales Teams
  • Track macro trends within lower-limb prosthetics and identify key opportunities for Freedom Innovations
  • Develop market assessments & work with R&D to develop evaluation/integration action plans for the most viable product options
  • Manage overall “Chartering Process” for all new product development initiatives
  • Create a formal cross-functional new product approval process
  • Conduct product assessments and make recommendations for new business development opportunities
  • Assist in creating new technology adoption programs in key accounts
  • Manage Annual Product Strategy Summits for all major franchises (MPC, Feet, Services)

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education and Experience

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree; Master’s preferred
  • Certified Prosthetist
  • At least 5 years of clinical experience within lower-limb prosthetics
  • Proven track record in partnering with R&D to help develop new product ideas and drive through to commercialization
  • Experience in partnering with sales team to help drive new product adoption

Regional Sales Manager

Field Sales | AZ, CO, NE, NM, ND, SD, UT, WY

SUMMARY OF POSITION

The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is responsible for influencing the sales and growth of existing and new Freedom Innovations products in the assigned territory. The RSM will develop and implement sales strategies to achieve specified territory sales goals and objectives.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Make scheduled sales presentations to assigned territory prosthetists to elicit the use of Freedom Innovations products.
  • Attain or exceed identified monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales volume goals.
  • Represent the company in a highly professional manner consistent with the image of Freedom Innovations.
  • Utilize sales literature, product samples, and promotional materials strategically and consistent with company product strategies.
  • Report customer and competitive activities via submission of accurate and timely territory call reports.
  • Become knowledgeable on the clinical and technical aspects of our industry and utilize this knowledge to overcome objections and implement our sales strategies.
  • Utilize company resources in a responsible manner to ensure profitability.
  • Seek company assistance when faced with potential legal or regulatory issues.
  • Responsible for partnering with Clinical Services Representative to assure optimum customer experience and sales deliverables
  • Reports to the North America VP Sales

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education and Experience

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 3 to 5 years of successful medical device sales experience
  • Previous experience selling prosthetic and/or orthotic products is highly desirable.
