PPX™ Technology
This proprietary poly-para-xylylene polymer technology is used to create an ultra-smooth, virtually impermeable surface that is bonded at the molecular level to the silicone liner. This results in a silky smooth socket interface that is durable, odor-resistant, easy to trim, and easy to don and doff whether it is rolled on or pulled on. And, the hydrophobic nature of the polymer makes it easy to clean and fast to dry.
Proven Biocompatibility
Poly-para-xylylene polymers have a proven track record with FDA-approved implantable medical devices because they can withstand difficult physiologic environments. The PPX polymer is biologically stable, chemically inert and hypoallergenic to minimize skin complications.
Double-Matrix Optimizes Performance
InceptionSil utilizes two matrix layers to optimize reliability and overall performance. A flexible matrix is embedded throughout the length of the liner to provide durability. The additional distal stabilizing matrix is tighter and stronger to reduce pistoning.

Determine liner size by taking a circumferential measurement, at normal pressure, 4cm above the distal end of the residual limb. If the exact measurement size is not available, defer to the next size down. Choosing a liner size larger than the measurement taken is not recommended. - Wall Thickness: 3mm
