Brings 20+ Years' Sales Experience to Prosthetics Manufacturer
IRVINE, CA June 15, 2004 - Freedom Innovations President and Chief Operating Officer Richard Myers announced today that Peter Cordrey of Birmingham, AL, has been named Southeast Regional Sales Representative. Cordrey brings more than 20 years of medical sales and sales management experience to his new role with one of the country's fastest-growing manufacturers of lower-limb prosthetics and components.
"Pete is a great asset to our team here at Freedom," said Meyers. "He brings vast sales experience in both the medical and prosthetics fields, as well as having his finger on the pulse of what the patients want and need."
As Southeast Regional Sales Representative, Cordrey is the first sales representative and consultant for Freedom Innovations direct sales. He will cover a five-state territory, including Kentucky, Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana. His top priority is to expand and enhance Freedom's current market position, and increase sales of the Freedom Innovations product lines into the orthotic and prosthetic facilities throughout the southeast region, Cordrey said.
Prior to joining Freedom Innovations, Cordrey spent three-and-a-half years with Ossur North America, a prosthetic and orthotic company, as area sales manager for its Alabama region. While in this position, he managed five state areas of more than 125 orthotic and prosthetic facilities, and was a top sales producer, increasing sales throughout the territory. Cordrey also worked for BCI International, and QMed, Inc., in positions of progressive responsibility, prior to entering the prosthetic industry.
