| DR. CHARLES BISBEE NAMED DIRECTOR OF SMART TECHNOLOGY FOR FREEDOM SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGIES |

Irvine, Calif. (June 30, 2004) - Industry Leader in Technology-Based Engineering to Bring Expertise to Prosthetics
IRVINE, CA June 30, 2004 - Freedom Innovations President and Chief Operating Officer Richard Myers announced today that Dr. Charles Bisbee of Mission Viejo, CA has been named Director of Smart Technology for Freedom Science & Technologies, a division of Freedom Innovations. Dr. Bisbee has more than 30 years of engineering experience, and brings his advanced computer-based technology expertise to one of the country's fastest-growing manufacturers of lower-limb prosthetics and components.
"Charlie has a solid track record of combining mechanics with electronics in prosthetics, resulting in advanced technology that not only meets but exceeds the needs of the amputee," said Myers. "His talents will allow Freedom Innovations to continue to offer lower-limb amputees the most functional and revolutionary prosthetics on the market."
As Director of Smart Technology, Dr. Bisbee leads the team of scientists and engineers in applying advanced computer-based technology to prosthetic products. Dr. Bisbee will guide various projects to successfully reach their predetermined goals, and continue to build upon established products to constantly improve upon them.
Prior to joining Freedom Science and Technology, Dr. Bisbee spent three years as Director of Mechatronix with prosthetic manufacturer Ossur. Before this, he was a principal in American Printware, which developed software solutions for large-scale printing and paperless information distribution. Dr. Bisbee's career also includes service in the United States Air Force. There he was an active test pilot and held command positions including Commander of the Operations Group at the Air Force Flight Test Center at Edwards Air Force Base in California. Dr. Bisbee also served as Director of the Global Power Division, Air Force Material Command.
Additionally, Dr. Bisbee taught at the Air Force Institute of Technology, where he directed the Air Force's artificial intelligence and computer engineering curriculum and oversaw the development of computer science and engineering curricula.
Dr. Bisbee received his Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from the United States Air Force Academy, his Master of Science degree in electrical engineering from Stanford University, and his PhD from Auburn University.
