Maynard Carkhuff, President and Chief Operating Officer of Freedom Innovations, announced today that Marvin McKinney has been named Regional Sales Manager, effective September 1, 2005. McKinney brings more than a decade of experience in prosthetic sales to his new role at Freedom, where he will manage and execute sales efforts throughout the south-western region of the U.S.

As Regional Sales Manager, McKinney will support and cultivate key customer relationships while promoting Freedom's product line of prosthetic components. As a member of the original sales force for Flexfoot, he brings an extensive knowledge of the O&P industry as well as many years of sales and management experience to the Freedom team.

"Marvin's industry insight will be a great asset to Freedom's sales division," Carkhuff stated. "As Freedom continues to build its senior level sales team with such capable persons, we will be able to better tailor our sales and product development efforts to meet the needs of our customers."

Before entering O&P Marvin worked in the Infusion Therapy industry where he functioned as Sales Manger for the home infusion therapy division of Health Source America, headquartered in San Antonio, TX. Prior to that, Marvin was a Regional Sales Manager for Williams Pharmaceuticals located in Wheat Ridge Colorado. He began his sales career with Forest Pharmaceuticals and became District Manager before moving on to Williams Pharmaceuticals.

McKinney received his Bachelor's degree from North Texas University and currently resides in Dallas, Texas.
