(September 18, 2006) The Versa-Clamp, new from Freedom Innovations, provides two fitting solutions when used in conjunction with the company’s Silhouette Prosthetic Foot.  The extended 34mm tube clamp can be paired with pre-cut spacer rings to provide an easy fix for clinicians that have cut the pylon of the Silhouette too short.  Simply insert the 1/8”, 1/4”, or 3/8” inch rings, or any combination of the three, into the clamp and you will be able to build back to the needed pylon height.  The Versa-Clamp also allows clinicians to easily utilize the Silhouette Prosthetic Foot in conjunction with pin locking systems which require pin extension past the pyramid adaptor. The extra length provided by the Versa Clamp provides 3/4 of an inch for the length of the pin.  The Versa Clamp is constructed of durable titanium, rated up to 365 lbs and is available immediately.  Available for purchase direct from Freedom or through SPS.
