Product Manager, Downstream Marketing

Global Marketing | Irvine, California

SUMMARY OF POSITION

The Product Manager, Downstream Marketing is responsible for managing the in-line product portfolio for Freedom Innovations (Knees, Ankles, Feet) on a worldwide basis. This individual will work closely with the three global regions (US, EMEA, APAC) to develop product strategies, campaigns and promotions that will help drive revenue worldwide. They will be responsible for overall in-line product marketing strategy, including positioning, messaging, pricing, digital marketing, market research (when needed), revenue analysis and planning, sales force alignment, and distribution/partnership marketing.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage the comprehensive in-line product portfolio for Freedom Innovations (Knees, Ankles, Feet) on a worldwide basis
• Monitor and analyze market & revenue trends to capitalize on product marketing opportunities, and develop and implement appropriate marketing plans to address each
• Manage all marketing communication activity for the portfolio, including: sales brochures, mailers, websites, apps, product catalog, packaging, etc.
• Manage global product forecasts for in-line portfolio;

Sr. Manufacturing Engineer

SUMMARY OF POSITION

As a member of the manufacturing and product development team, the individual works to meet new product release objectives and to support existing product lines with continuous improvement in mind.

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Ensure that new products are released on schedule with robust processes and acceptance testing methodologies that achieve cost objectives.

Quality Technician

Quality | Gunnison, Utah

SUMMARY OF POSITION

The person will be responsible for performing visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of incoming materials including machined parts, injection molded parts, and printed circuit boards. This individual will also perform routine returned goods analysis and disposition. The person may also perform manufacturing process audits and Good Documentation Practice Reviews of manufacturing records, and functional testing of subassemblies and finished products.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure that incoming materials conform to specifications and that correct documentation of materials, processes and secondary operations are correct.
• Read and understand engineering drawings, part specifications, and procedural requirements.
• Collect, organize and communicate data from various sources that will be used by internal quality, manufacturing, and R&D.
• Follow Non-Conformance procedures to Quarantine and disposition materials as directed.
• Verify and use proper tools and gages a correct manner in performing inspections, and that they are within calibration.
• Properly communicate inspection concerns, including test failures and unexpected data results.
• Follow documented procedures in receiving, reviewing and recording results for returned goods.

• Familiarity with roles in the manufacturing and GMP environment, including inspection, quality control, and production control.

• High School Degree, technical background required. College level coursework preferred plus experience in a FDA regulated company.

SUMMARY OF POSITION

The person will provide Quality Engineering support for the product development teams, manufacturing operations, and complaints processing at the Irvine, CA site. This person will serve as a member of Product Development Teams for Irvine based Projects. We are looking for a highly motivated and energetic professional for a full time position as a Senior Mechanical Engineer. This will support an expanding operation for commercialization of our next generation prosthetic feet, ankles, knees, and legs. Working closely with the entire Freedom Innovations engineering and operations team, he/she will be responsible for the ongoing engineering support of prosthetic limbs in production.

Collections Specialist

Accounting and Finance | Irvine, California

SUMMARY OF POSITION
Working off an Excel Spreadsheet this person will perform collection tasks, involving calling customer for payments and resolving any issues. Working with the sales team as needed. This position is also back up for posting cash applications, processing credit card and ACH payments.

This position within Freedom’s finance department will have the responsibility to oversee the customer loaner product program. Freedom lends products to customers while their product is being serviced or repaired. This person will track the pool of loaner products, ship loaner products to customers, work directly with customer to have the loaner product returned to Freedom, and report the status of the pool of loaner products to appropriate personnel with in Freedom (Sales, customer service, manufacturing, management).

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Vice President, Research & Development will lead all product development engineering efforts for the company. He/she will have responsibility for directing the mechanical design, electrical hardware, software, and firmware development and deployment efforts to ensure effective development of new products. The VP of R&D will lead the identification, monitoring and, in conjunction with business development, the licensing/acquisition of new technologies and alliances that can be incorporated into the company’s current and future products. The VP of R&D will also be responsible for leading a team of engineers who will develop high quality innovative products while meeting project timelines. A key focus of the role is to provide strong technical product leadership coupled with equally effective project management skills.
• Develop, direct and maintain a system to manage all product development programs and projects, including a rigorous review process, in order to ensure attainment of key milestones and adherence to product specifications, timelines and budgets.
• Lead the engineering teams to promote a high-performance, results-driven environment with a strict adherence to project management requirements.
